FEEDBACK Hi David, Just wanted to let you know what a lovely holiday we had at Villa Cristina. It was everything we hoped for. A beautifully kept apartment which felt very homely and cared for. Unfortunately the weather let us down so we couldn't use the pool or tennis courts but we will return in the Spring or Summer and make full use of the facilities then. Foz is an interesting place and we enjoyed our trips out to Obidos, Peniche and Baleal. We also had a good hotel in Porto which we would recommend (Hotel Eurostars das Artes) and managed to even have a short cruise on the Douro. We had a brilliant two weeks and did loads of sight-seeing; we absolutely loved that area and will definitely be back. Must say surprised how quiet it was in that area, apart from week enders, had the place and the pool almost to ourselves, couldn't be better! Tried a restaurant or two, much of a sameness we think, but you do get good cooking at very cheap prices. We really liked Foz, so ate and drank down by the beach. Weather quite confusing at times, morning misty and cloud then hot sun, once again just fine. The Italian restaurant in Caldas was closed during our stay, not too surprising as we found a bit of Porto closed as well, tried to watch Lion's game, you recommended an Irish Pub, but that was closed as well, they must have known we were coming!
